HITEX 2023
Many local and international businesses annually attend HITEX, the largest annual technology exhibition in Iraq and Kurdistan. The four-day event included 121 local and international exhibitors from 21 countries and attracted over 48 thousand visitors.
KRG has always supported HITEX
Last year, HITEX 2023 was successfully held in coordination with KRG. In coordination with HITEX, the Kurdistan Regional Government gave unprecedented support through its Department of Media and International (DIT) and Department of Technology and International (DMI), as well as brought forward a variety of ministries and essential parties. Through the Communications and Media Commission, the Iraqi government also showed its support for the exhibition. Because of these circumstances, HITEX expanded its scope to include firms from all over the world and became an international event.
